Whoa Nelly! Wind and the Mazda 3

Today was non stop wind. Average 30 mph, gusts exceeding 60 mph.
Moved me about a third of a lane at one point on the freeway.

Strato Blue HB, manual, 6cd, ABS, Moonroof
IceLink and iPod. Stubby antenna
No leather, no TPMS, no xenon, no Nav, one huge ding, best MPG 29.73 (US)

yeah, it was windy as hell today around here! it sucked! put the windchills down in the single digits..

haha. yeah, wind makes the car move. seems really light when it's windy. i've been on a few of the bridges that aren't even that high, not suspension bridges at all, and the car still moves all over the place.

Whoa Nelly! Wind and the Mazda 3

Speaking of wind have any of you noticed the incredible cross wind and noise that happens if you roll down one front and one back window in the hatch. It's even worse if you have both back windows open and are travelling around 100 kmh.

It's crazy, you think the car is about to implode. Can't hear anything in the car, it's like a tornado is happening in the back seat.

Comments??? By the way I have a hatch, does this also happen in the sedan. The engineers really dropped the ball on that one.
