I don't. I've heard it can be painful. Figure someday I have to push a child out so don't need any more pain in my life beyond that.

Paintball doesnt hurt that much

I used to play, had a tippman98 custome as my first marker,
Than a Spyder Custom Java with a slew of mods. Just sold that gun a few months ago.

Any paintballers?

Hm. Good question.

Well, for one, I'm not talking play-commando-in-the-woods paintball

The type of paintball I'm talking about is on an open field with inflatable "bunkers". It's a fast paced game of capture the flag.. I guess it's fun because it's tactical, it's pure competition, fast paced, and... just... fun!

My wife, me, and roomates all play at the local fields when we get the time.

Using an A-5 with all the sweets and a T.E.S. for fun =)

It's a nice little set of courses we have here, everything from speedball with the inflatables to the trenches with stupid stupid stupid tumbleweeds in the ground.

As for why, its fun taking the whole group of family out to just waste a day shooting at other people for fun. After the first couple times out the pain doesnt even matter anymore, a ball break in the mouth thru the mask and you tend to forget about the pain over the taste of paint
