I'm trully saddened by the events of 9/11. While the immiediate deaths and casualties are harsh, I feel that the subsequent shift in our country has hurt everybody. Patriotism has gone up - but at the same time American ideologies are under attack and it seems more and more oppression is taking place.

I'm still rather peeved about my experinece on that day....

I was stuck in class taking a test. Somebody came in and told the class what was happening, but the teacher said to go ahead and finish the exam since it was probably a hoax or unimportant.

So then right after that class - I have another exam. The teacher there says that we ought to just have the test now since the TV just shows the first building on fire... no biggie.

WTF????

Anyway, I spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what the hell was going on

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is going on

Actually I was asleep that day. I had the day off from work. Since this was my habit on my off days, I usually tuned the TV to PBS and half awake watched Arthur or Clifford the Big Red dog. But the night before I had the TV on CBS or ABC, watching Letterman. So I turned on the TV and saw some buildings falling down. I dismissed it immediately because I assumed they were demolishing a casino in Las Vegas. Particularly I thought they were destroying the “New York New York” Casino. So, it wasn’t till I woke up and went to the front room, 2 hrs later. That I discovered what really happened.

Later that day I went to the movies to see a Movie featuring Keanu Reeves in a movie in the vein of the Bad News Bears.

I know it had some black kids in it, but I can’t remember much of the plot, except that involved baseball.

What were you doing on the Anniversary of 9/11

It was my freshman year at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA. I was just getting up for my first class of the day and I heard on the radio as I laid in bed on the local radio station, they first said that a plane had flew into one of the WTC towers. I remember thinking to myself, "it's probably just some dumbass in a little piper cub or something who fell asleep." Well, then when I was ready to leave, I came out into the living room, and my roommate was on the couch watching CNN, I was totally shocked, unfortunately I had to leave for class. Everyone was talking about it when I got to class. I went to all my classes for the rest of the day but was glued to CNN all in between and afterwards.

If you want the REAL Truth behind 9/11, go to this website, www.fromthewilderness.com, and buy the DVD, "Truth & Lies of 9/11" by Michael C. Ruppert. Also, to learn all about Mike Ruppert, the man who founded the organization, click on the left "About Michael C. Ruppert", read his bio, that'll help you understand the point and the rest of the website.

I visit his site religiously now, and for the past 20 years, and mostly since 9/11, he has uncovered the truth and broke major stories involving government foreknowledge, corruption and violations of the Constitution. It's really hard because I've been a big Bush supporter, I'm a republican, now I'm on the fence after learning all the bad things the Bush Administration has done since they got in office. This guy is the TRUTH!

I was sleeping in when I got a call from my buddy telling me about it. So I turned on the TV and watched for a while. I think the rest of the day I pretty much just watched the news, and hung out with some friends.

I was sleeping at the time and by dad came and woke me and my brother up since we're on the west coast it was early in the morning. Then I went to school and we pretty much discussed it the whole day.

I was helping my friend moving out. The TV was on and we ended up watching the news instead. It was shocking...

I was in weight training class watching a video on weight training safety when one of the other P.E. Teachers walked in and said something and the whole class could kind of hear it and we all asked what happened? Well he went out to take care of people purchasing uniforms and we took it upon ourself to zoom through the video so we could see what was on the tv. We got past it all and turn on the news and just as we turned it on the first tower was collasping. After that they didn't shut down school until 1pm cause they the time they realy didn't think it was seirous. My mom came and picked my brother and I up from school and we went home. I didnt sleep that night. I was too petrified at the erie silence outside.

What were you doing on the Anniversary of 9/11

I'm in the Air Force and I was stationed in Incirlik, Turkey. I had just recently enlisted...been in about 9 months (was in turkey for bout 3). It was at the end of the workday for us. I was just about to head home when I heard two guys in the hall way saying something about a plane flying into the Trade Center. I ran over to a room that had a TV in it and I just stared at the news. Didn't know what to think. So I ran to my dorm room and just sat and watched the second plane hit. My family lives in NY so i got real worried. I couldn't even call my mom because the phones on base became official use only for the first day or two. My mom finally called to say that nobody I knew was hurt. It was pretty crazy.
