I agree... my ex-boyfriend has a loaded 04 3.5 altima and brags about 240HP - I think that is the only nice thing about the altima - the interior sucks (very cheap) the steering wheel controls do not light up at night.....and it is a boat of a car... Everytime we passed another altima i'd say... look! Grandma's out for a drive - sure enough - it'd be some little old granny peeping over the steering wheel. I'd give anything to have the RX8 at the track against him... :P

i hear Nissans suck. I think most trucks suck. A Nissan Titan should suck right? Wrong that is a falicy, I learned that in my logic class. It can't be because I heard nissans suck, and I think most trucks suck, then the Nissan Titan must suck. I couldn't tell you why, but it's a falicy. I only got a D in the class. I've heard that this particular truck is the baddest of the bunch right now. Maybe you can toss your 3 in the bed of the Titan. But hey what do I know.

PEACE!!!!

I know there's a thread about where Mazda "cut corners" on the 3. I have a short story about how Nissan seems to have cut corners on the Altima. A coworker of mine drives an 03 Altima (2.5). He heads out to his car only to discover that his front passenger side tire is flat. So he drives it to a part of the parking lot that's empty so he can move around the car freely. At this point, I'm on my way out and decide to to give him a hand after I spotted him breaking out the jack. He opens his trunk to pull out his jack and lug wrench and he's suprised by what he see's. His lug wrench is basically a peice of hex tubing with a pin on one end that allows it to pivot inside the handle for easy storage.

To use it, you just pivot the "hex end" perpendicular to the handle. Only problem is, the moment he tries to remove his lugs, the tubing spreads out and is now basically round and can't grip the nut at all anymore. Needless to say, he was pissed. I handed my lug wrench from the trunk and he went to work.

Has anyone had to change a flat in their 3 yet? Is the lug wrench cast from some kind of metal, or did they jury rig some pathetic excuse of a high school shop class experiment like Nissan did?

Eat right, exercise regularly, die anyway.
