MAP24: Awesome web route planner

Awesome technically, dunno how accurate it is, but check this out:

http://www.uk.map24.com/

For those of us who don't have Navis, that is.

*note Canada is found in the USA section grrrrr and it still comes up in miles. There is a way to change it to kms but I don't remember off hand.

try http://mapquest.com

Hell of a lot easier, with kilometres AND driving directions.

I too prefer mapquest's interface. However, I noticed that this one allows you create routes witout using highways or toll roads, a feature mapquest got rid of a while ago. I may keep this one in mind for that reason.

These services might work great in most places but they're seriously flawed in and around NYC. Anything that says "fastest route" and "go through Manhattan" can't be trusted.

The Map24 interface looks a bit more detailed than mapquest. Thanks for the link.

I'm not sure who created it but it needs a lot of accuracy work. None of the Vancouver addresses work. It seems to default to N. Vancouver for everything. Still, I like the trip planner and the distance tool between cities.
