Question about X-Box

Alright guys, I have a question for you and I've searched but came up with nothing. I'm looking to use an X-Box as a harddrive in my car to store music on, and its looking very possible but I need some help. I remember seeing a link on here for a good site about modifying your X-Box to do similar things, but I can't find it now. I found all of the linux installation stuff and it seems very interesting, but I want to see what else is possible. If anyone can post links for good website about modifying the X-Box I'd be very happy, because most of what I have come up with has been trash.

Question about X-Box

Flipped, post any info you can if you don't mind, like what mod chip you're using and such. There is a ton of info on that site, to the point I'm getting a tad confused on what to do. And thank you for saving those ducks, it was a nice thing.

Question about X-Box

Which one was that, the only way I could figure to do the softmod was to be able to run linux.
