Are there GPS software for calculating 1/4mile times?

Like the title says, I'm wondering if there are softwares out there that would use my GPS hooked up to my laptop to get 1/4 mile, 0-60 times. Seems to me, that would be the most accurate numbers one could get without going to the 1/4 mile track.... :?

I'm not sure if such a thing exists or not. But I don't know if GPS is going to give you an accurate time. I believe it takes on the order of seconds to update your GPS coordinates.
