Strangest road trash?

What's the strangest/largest/most dangerous trash you've ever encountered on a freeway/highway?

1-New refrigerator in box. Unopened. Standing upright. #2 lane 35W.

2-Rolling wheel (no rubber) at about 50mph. No car with shredded rubber anywhere in sight. 6am, dark outside. Initially saw a bunch of sparks skipping down a lane. Took a while to find out what it was.

3-Beat up Chevy pickup. Bed sides extended up with 4x8 plywood sheets. Loaded down with refuse. Rusted out, sides were flapping in the wind. Looked like something from the old Sanford and Son TV show. Downshifted, sped past, began looking in mirror. Mile or so later, saw this cloud of dirt/debris raining all over the freeway.

All encountered in the Minneapolis area.

Strato Blue HB, manual, 6cd, ABS, Moonroof
IceLink and iPod. Stubby antenna
No leather, no TPMS, no xenon, no Nav, one huge ding, best MPG 29.73 (US)

Strangest road trash?

Last year there was a dog running down a 4-lane highway. People were slowing down and tried to get the dog to move out of the lane, but the dog kept running along the cars. It caused a pretty big traffic jam, but the dog looked like it was having a lot of fun.

I also saw a truck camper in the middle of a lane.

Strangest road trash?

I was driving down the highway after getting a new rim put on my 3 when I see a whole tire (rim and wheel) bounce about 30 feet in the air and hit the ground once before smashing into the front window of a house. Then I look forward and notice an older F-150 sparking like crazy and trying to pull over. Something bad happened because that tire had come off of the front drivers side and it was now riding on the axel. I was very thankful when I got home because I was hoping the same thing wouldn't happen with my brand new wheel. Oh the other interesting thing was that two people were standing out front of the house when it was hit and they did not seem to flinch what so ever.

Strangest road trash?

I was driving through highway 80 in Iowa at 3:00am. I swear to God - I saw a kid (around 10 years old) standing in the middle of the road. I hit the brakes and came to a stop in the emergency lane... and walked back up the road...

There really was a kid in his PJ's standing there... but then he ran away towards the trees.

The other guys in the car woke up and asked WTF I was doing. They told me that maybe I shouldn't be driving any more Dunno what happened.

Strangest road trash?

that's really, really strange holeydonut lol

this isnt really road trash but..
i was driving home one night from my gf's apartment and i'm on the highway and i see a really nice car infront me. So i drive up a lil closer to see what model it was. By the way, it's a 70mph two lane highway. So, i'm still driving behind this guy trying to read his tag and then he swerves over into the next lane. I'm thinking to myself "oh i pissed him off cause i was probably following too close". Then i look up and i see headlights coming towards me. And i thought i was seeing things... so i keep staring at the lights and then it hits me... A CAR'S COMING TOWARDS ME! lol. Now, by this time the guy in the other car had really slowed down and i had passed him so i swerved over into his lane and a few seconds later i see a car zoom past. Then the guy that i was following drove up next to me and we're like WTF was that!! lol

Now, i get home and i'm watching tv and the news comes on. And the same car after it passed us it drove right into a semi and the driver of the car died. They said he was hallucinating and crossed the median separating the highways.

Was kinda scary.

Not to raise issue with the story, but how did they know he was hallucinating if he died when the semi hit him?

Actually they said "the driver got disorientated" not hallucinating as i said. But i don't understand how you can be so disorientated to cross huge median with a dip in the middle and drive into oncoming traffic not know... lol
