Meanest Bosses you've had

This kinda goes along with worst job.

One of my old bosses at a construction company I worked for was a dick in his own way. I used to do various things including clean up the job site. One day after work the foreman, my boss and me were sitting there drinking some beer. My boss finishes a beer crumples up the can and throws it out in the yard. He turns to me and says, "Ryan, you know what that is?" I told him no and his reply was, "Job security" I quit not long after that.

Post some of the things your mean bosses did to you or others.

no mean boss but an idiot boss who was a manic depressive that required meds to control his emotions and stability. we all knew when he was not on his meds cause he acted paranoid and hated everyone. he cried when i left - subsequently the business went belly up. I wonder where Wendell is now.... heh! who cares........ LOL.

Sunlight Silver MZ3-5, HP Charcoal 32%, Billet Stubby antenna from Ptuning, and more to come.

Meanest Bosses you've had

O.K. since I am the only one with stories about my mean bosses I will post another. I worked for a furniture moving company. One day we were loading a truck and had to cross a ramp to load it. The ramp was off a loading dock to the truck so it was a few feet in the air. I was helping carry the top of a roll top desk, it was all wood and pretty heavy. I was the one walking backwards as we got to the ramp I looked back to my right and stepped back with my left and fell off the side of the ramp. The desk top landed on me but I was alright. Well a couple of minutes later my boss walked out and he got told what happened. He turned to me and asked, "How's my desk?" I still don't like that man.

When I was 18, I worked for a female boss and she was very very picky. Even stapling had to be done at the far left corner and it must be stapled vertically, and all written communication must be grammatically correct.

At the time, I hated her with a passion. Now that I am 32, I look back and appreciate her being this picky with everything I did as today I take pride in whatever I do. ........and i'm fast becomming as picky as her....haha

Warrant Officers in the Army. Those people love to give you a hard time about anything. If they can piss you off, they call it a good day.

Warrant officers in the Navy were the best, since they had at least 10 years in as an enlisted they were usaully much more reasonable.

The worst were the low grade officers, especially the academy grads. They thought because they graduated from Anapolis they knew my job better than I did even if I had been doing it since before they were in their first year.

Some were cool, it is just the ones I had to deal with in my job. I was in aviation at Ft Eustis, VA. I worked on the Apaches. They loved to come in and make us do our work over again just because. Of course we couldn't argue with them that we did it right. But I know what you mean, Lt's walk around with a stick up their ass.
