Urinal: How to minimize splash?

Just curious what you guys think. Has anyone done any study on this to find out which part of the urinal is best to aim at to minimize pee splashing out of the bowl?

Urinal: How to minimize splash?

A guy's gotta either aim for where the water meets the tank in the back or try and aim at the side of the bowl. All depends on the shape and depth of the urinal i guess. The worst that happens if you aim at the side is you miss and whizz on the wall or the guy next to you.

Urinal: How to minimize splash?

I aim for that little white puck thats put into the urinal that makes it smell nice-er
lol

If possible there should always be 1 guy for every 2nd urinal. I hate having someone directly next to me taking a piss at the same time as me

Another rule should be to look directly in front of you or down and never look on either side while pissing

Urinal: How to minimize splash?

in grade school we would compete to see who could pee out the window. This made alot of sense because we were all little boys. And then the janitor would have to clean it up.

I don't know about you guys - but I haven't seen a urinal with a puck in it for about a year now. Every urinal seems to have a water bowl rather than a screen+puck thing.

Honestly - I've never got pee on my pants no matter what I'm doing. Are you guys forcing out the pee with severe authority?

You could stand a good foot back, if possible. Sure, you'd look like an amateur (though that would be quite difficult for an adult man), but zero splash back at that range is always preferable to looking like a moron.

LOL at this thread too!

Additional question; why do some (Chinese?) places put ice cubes in the urinals?!?!?! I've seen this in Chinese restaurants and Chinese karaoke clubs.
