So so sad...

I accidentally hit a squirrel today, and it was heart breaking. and YES, i tried to avoid it but a garbage truck was in the other lane and i didnt want to die. the worst part was it didnt instantly die, so i saw him seizing, it was terrible. wish it didnt happen

RIP Mr. Squirrel.

I actually dodged a squirrel one time. I was going up a hill and suddenly it just darted out right in front of my car. So I swerved a bit... just enough. But I saw it fly up and I thought I squished it... but I didn't. and it crossed the street.

I know you're staring at that Red X avatar of mine

i hit a bird a few years back with my deville...it got up under the car somehow and it just made a big thud...i actually didnt feel bad at all. a squirrel however, is much fuzzier, and perhaps tugs the heartstrings a bit harder...

lol. Sorry I don't mean to laugh, it just reminds me of a time in highschool.

The same thing happened to an old friend of mine as she was driving in to school, she told us about it and we gave her a guilt trip that she'd never forget. I don't know what was worse, the fact that a poor innocent squirrel died, or that we practically had her in tears for hitting it.

That is kinda sad especially given my experience on squirrels...A squirrel saved my *** once...

I was speeding along on this backroad in a nearby hick town when this squirrel is just standing in the road, munching on something.... I see it and hit my brakes and kinda make my way around it slowly as he continues his munching (the guy didn't even flinch...reminds me of that Geico commercial) when right over the hill, there is a speed trap which I surely would have got pulled over and ticketed for. Thanks, squirrel buddy for keeping my insurance rates low and spotless driving record intact.

Just thought I'd share my little experience while we're on the topic of squirrels...

Squirrels are just rats with fluffy tails anyways.

So so sad...

There are too many squirrels in my area. I was mountain biking and I was on a narrow downhill when out of the blue a squirrel runs in front of me. The damn thang almost took me out.
