Since I know there are alot of Computer tech's on this board.. just wanted to know who here has tested out sp2 beta so far... I have been testing it since we got it in MSDNAA and its pretty stable and good so far... I really like the features of Pop up blocking in IE and the better firewall it has...

Let me know if you guys have been testing it and what you think of it.

I'm gonna wait at least 3-6 months after the release. I could test it on my 2nd PC, but it doesn't meet the XP requirements :P

I hope SP2 is the answer to all XP problems.

In charge of testing SP2 at my workplace and it's going to cause us a lot of problems... specially for the admin side because of the firewall defaults and IE popup blocking feature. Because of the popup blocking feature, a lot of our intranet will not work. As for the firewall, with it on by default, network shares are disabled and you can't even ping the PC anymore. For a home user, it's great, but for a company, it's a nightmare.

Good feature with the SP2 firewall is that it is now configurable, which is a plus compared to the one included with XP. Outlook Express is also upgraded with anti-Spam features like those included with Outlook 2003. Those were the biggest visible difference. There are a lot of invisible differences in the background.

Yeah great for running 10 programs, half of them made by Microsft anyways.
