Sports Car Revolution - SPEED Channel

Great new show on SPEED. Talks all about road racing, autocrossing, car custominzation, you name it. Haven't seen any Mazda's on the program yet but it's definitely worth watching. Tuesday's at 630 CST.

Sports Car Revolution - SPEED Channel

Speaking of speed channel, I rarely watch it anymore because all that seems to be on is Nascar.

Nascar this

Nascar that

Example programing for today:
12pm-2:30pm : Nascar race
2:30-3 : Autoweek
3-3:30 : Motorweek
3:30-4 : Two Guys Garage (muscle cars)
4-6 : Nascar Fast Forward,
6-6:30pm : Nascar Bush Series 24/7
6:30-7 : Nascar performance
7-7:30 : American Muscle Car
7:30-8 : Barret Jackson Car Search (what else, muscle cars)
8-8:30 : Chevrolet test drive
8:30-9 : Making of "Victory by Design"
9-10: Ford's Racing Heritage (mostly Nascar)
10-11: Windtunnle - a discussion forum about mostly Nascar.

Then the programming sort of recycles.

I never thought so much can be discussed about a bunch of guys driving in a circle. That and old geezers talking about muscle cars.

They might as well call it Nascar Channel.

It used to be that I could catch some touring car races, some world rally challenge stages. No more. I actually have to search and plan to catch a glimpse of something other than oval racing.

True, too much NASCAR. I tried to watch it and give it a chance but in the end I couldn't see the entertainment. But I still watch Speed to get WRC, Australian V8 Supercar, World Challenge, Trans Am, DTM, ALMS, MotoGP, World Superbike and so on. Sports Car Revolution has potential and I also really like the Victory by design series.

It also helps to have that Tivo so I can just search for when the programs are on and record them.

I think SPEED has a pretty good balance. There are a lot of NASCAR shows but theres also good ones like SCR, Motorweek, Autoweek, Tuner Transformation, the WRC, World Challenge, etc.

If you are in to bittorrent I have seen Sports Car Revolution offered before. Just do a search on Novasearch.
