I just saw that. Scary stuff.

Man, what's happening to the next generation?
I know it's just a show, but I think it kinda represents what our society is going through...

sadly it's not just tv... i happened to catch opera one day and there was a whole segment of children bullying children... it made me cry the whole time and then i thought to myself how hard it is nowadays to raise a child. i wouldn't want my kids growing up in some f*cked up world where they're ready to commite suicide by the age of 11 and what's worst is these kids that are bullying don't always come from "bad homes" anymore... they are perfectly normal kids with loving homes.. but they're so violent now

I'm just about to start a moral debate here, but I don't think I will.... atleast not yet
It is a sad state of affairs.

are you referring to my "bad home" comment? i only said that because of those studies that are always done.. you know the ones that show that if you grew up in a high crime area then you're more likely to commit crimes and that sort of stuff... or if you have certain problems as a kid its because you're parents neglected you... or something like that

Yeah, I've heard of those studies.
But more importantly than the studies, I see it in my friends and family. There IS a correlation b/w bad homes and bad kids, but I believe that the home is not the ONLY factor.

And for that matter, bad homes don't produce bad kids all the time either. But the possibility is greater.

argh! stupid stats class... got me thinking weird...
