The Worst Cars of All Time - 1971 RX-2 on list

The 1971 Mazda RX-2, among others, managed to make their way into Forbes "The Worst Cars of All Time" list....

edit: I tried to make the poll here, but it said Ihad too many poll options..

The Worst Cars of All Time - 1971 RX-2 on list

Nice topic!

I got a few owned by us

1985 Escort (owned b/w 1993-1995)
Engine replaced at roughly 140kms
Stalled at every stoplight unless you revved it
Had to keep it on MAX heat during the summer or else it would overheat - that was a sweaty experience

1993 Civic (owned b/w 1999-2001) 125kms
2 head gaskets
1 cylinder head
1 rad+thermostat
1A/C
A/T tranny would sometimes not shift - enjoyed doing it the most while I was halfway through intersections making a left hand turn - scary POS

My list ends here

The PRO has been great/outstanding/wow and the Maxi at 208kms is pretty good for a 13yr old car

Hmm... If I had to add one to the list, maybe a 1992 Ford Thunderbird Sport 5.0.

Great power, but the car was too heavy to really use it. That and something new would break each and every week....

Eventually the radiator, A/C and brakes went all in the same week - so we upgraded it to a Toyota Avalon (1st year, when they were beefy looking).

Ugh, my friend had one that blew all the freeze plugs for no reason. Then when we got the POS home, we replaced them and all was well for another 2 weeks or so.

Then it was leaking as school. WTF i thought... then we look underneath and there is a hole in the block! What a piece!

I believe his was a 93.

Yup.. We had a crack in the radiator, and we didn't find out until a trip to Reno going up 80. In the middle of 100 degree weather none the less.

Before I even look at the list, I'm going to guess the Yugo is on there. It has to be.

C'mon, the beauty of the Yugo was that it had a rear window defroster.

To keep your hands warm while you pushed it. hahaha
