What is the Strongest Dog?

Please vote!! I've heard like bulldogs and pitbulls when they bite their jaw locks and you have to put a stick or something to take it apart. So I believe they're very very strong. I heard that Sarplaninac can beat 3 wolves when fighting against them at the same time. That's hell of a dog. lol. But I think rottweiler is strongest dog.

Here are pics:

What is the Strongest Dog?

Come on. I added pic of sarplaninac. I've heard that dog can actually beat 3 wolves at same time. That's freaking hell of a dog. His coat is thick so thats probably why. Vote for any dog that you think is strongest.

What is the Strongest Dog?

When I was 12.. and out riding my bike, my neighbors Rottweiler hopped the fence and chased me for like 10 mins. I rode as hard as I could and the damn dog wouldnt budge..

Finally I was near DEAD tired and stopped. The dog ran up to me and starting sniffing me. Obviously I was breathing harder than a woman giving birth but funny enough he didnt do anything to me.

Found out the dog loved to chase moving targets and he was just excercising. Geez....

What is the Strongest Dog?

I am gonna go with none of the above and list a French Mastiff. Not a bull mastiff. They are the cousin to a bull mastiff which is a more common breed. The french mastiff stands about 24"s at the withers (shoulders) and males weigh up to 150 pounds.
These dogs were originally used in bull baiting and bear hunting and boar hunting. Pit bulls and bull dogs were also used in these sports.

What is the Strongest Dog?

I believe the mastifs are indeed the strongest breed but a bull terrier has the strongest jaws. All breeds make great pets if they AREN"T trained to be attack dogs. This is a sensitive subject to me cuz I LOVE dogs - especially big ones! I have a part Stadffordfshire Terrier part Sheppard. She's strong, has a mean bark BUT is an absolute wuss, she is also amazing with small kids.
I can't stand those "tough guys" who buy Rotti's or Terriers and train them to be mean!!

What is the Strongest Dog?

That french Mastiff is pretty insane looking, I have a bull mastiff/ St. Bernard Mix at my moms house, she is a beast but is such a wimp.

How does a St.Bernard compare with these other dogs based on just strength?
