Things I was remind of on my trip to Jersey this weekend

1) HID's should be banned. (Commence flaming now)
2) The GW Bridge sucks.
3) The Bronx suck.
4) Traveling at 2 AM rocks.
5) The manhattan skyline from the GW rules.
6) I rule at poker.
7) I rule at drinking.
8 ) This world needs more girls.
9) Jersey really is a toxic waste dump.
10) The RX-8 is beautiful.

Nothing I didn't already know, but I felt like posting anyway.

What's the RX-8 have to do with your trip to Jersey?
I agree HID's should be banned.

1) Retrokits are, but its never enforced cause cops never know if they are retrokits. I think HID's should be banned - period. People that say "they put out so much more light" - yeah, they do. But guess what? That's what high beams are for. If you're in an area where you need that light because there's no other light source, that means you aren't around other cars and can use your high beams.

9) Nah... not like Jersey. There's sights and smells in Jersey that are not meant to be experienced by humans (ie, Newark).

10) Has to do with Jersey because there was a yellow one in the grocery store parking lot yesterday.

HID's shouldn't be banned.. they just should better enforce the adjustment of the headunit.. if angled correctly, the shouldn't affect oncoming traffic any more than halogens.. that's why they have levelers whether automatic or manual.. also, they should only allow them on projector lights.. not reflectors. audi's and bmw's do it well.. most of the problems you guys are seeing are probably from aftermarket kits installed by ricers.

If you not up to speed yet dk0280, retro-kit HIDs/Xenons. are in the process of being banned from the DOT. Yeah, cops still cant tell the difference, but Im sure they will receive training for that and know which cars dont come factory with it.

They aren't "in the process" vaBoom, they've NEVER been legal. They just recently made them illegal for even off-road purposes though.

Been to NJ (Whippany) for a business trip... Man... are the highways there confusing. Got freaking lost at night, drove in circle for hours. Will never forget that. Plus, it was raining like a b*tch and I almost trashed the rental car. Never want to do that again!

i'm not talking about retrofits.. yeah, those should be banned and are banned.. you're not suppose to be able to buy them anymore.. but xenon's as a whole should not. if they come from the factory, they should be configured properly.. but seems you guys want xenons, whether factory or aftermarket, to be banned.. if from the factory, especially for projector light housings, i think they're fine and shouldn't cause problems for oncoming traffic. and, like i said, the problems you guys are getting are probably from aftermarket kits, not the legit ones. believe me, i did months of research on HID's, so know a thing or two about them.
