Are you a good driver?

Only with other people in the car and in the city (for the most part)... otherwise i'm liable to cruise at or above 85mph on the highway...

No. I'm not a good driver and I admit to it. I have no sense of what cutting people off is, and someday someone will probably kill me over it. I zoom in and out of traffic like there's no tomorrow, I'm lucky to be alive.

I think the type of road really affects how I (and others drive). Don't you just hate long, straight sections of a highway? Going from to San Francisco (from Sacramento), there's a 15 mile stretch of Hwy. 80 with NO TURNS, monotonously straight all the way. Traffic averages about 75mph and there are countless numbers of cars weaving through...

In the Bay area, on the other hand, the roads are more variable and everything seems to be more uniform.

Drivers crave stimulation.

BTW. I've been in 2 minor accidents and received one ticket for the one time I've been pulled over. I don't like city driving.

I say good driver is not proper. In the eyes of the law, I'm a bad driver (too many tickets). But I've only been in one accident that wasn't my fault, most tickets aren't speeding and I have never lost control of my car unless I was trying, or hit an unseen piece of ice.

So I would say I'm a good driver in terms of skill, but perhaps not a responsible driver, too many tickets, (most not speeding) but everyone says I'm the only person they feel safe with going fast in a car.

Working on getting mine really soon.

If not speeding, what are the tickets for?
