$200 or less Audio for my computer

Any ideas? I currently have a CSW Microworks system, but I think I've finally beaten it into the ground

Re: $200 or less Audio for my computer

I have a 5-speaker Altec Lansing system. I put little neons on my woofer that pulse to the music... it's pretty neat. It put me back about $150-200, and sounds pretty sweet if you have your media player tuned right.
(I wanted to revive the oldest thread :lmao: )

Sam's Club is hilarious. You have to be like an uber-secret top member with proper ID to get in. Haha.

Their top-end 2.0, 2.1 and 5.1 systems cannot be matched for value. I have the R1900TII 2.0 system and it is absolute best $100 I have ever spent on audio gear. I liked my 2.0 setup so much that I bought their H800 headphones as well, and they're worth easily double the money they cost.

Don't let the power ratings fool you.

Re: $200 or less Audio for my computer

I wouldn't forget a sound card. I've hooked the same speakers to a computer with integrated 5.1 vs a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS system, and noticed an amazing difference. Most people wouldn't have thought they were the same speakers.

Here's an Audigy 2 for $58
