Was considering getting an S1500 for awhile now. thought i'd see if anyone has one or has any comments.

it's a slr-like, under $200, 10mp, 12x optical zoom.

thoughts?

Re: Fuji S1500?

I can't speak for that specific model but I do have the s700. and I LOVE it, wouldn't hesitate to buy another Fuji camera. I have very few complaints about it, mostly the lack of adjustment for exposure time.

Are you in a hurry?
What is your budget?

Fuji just announced an amazing camera today that will be out in April.

Re: Fuji S1500?

Old topic but no one replied so I'll hit it up for fun.

I had one of the slr-like fujifilm cameras the s1000fd...had the same 10MP and zoom, just the newer version.

Its a million times better than a point and shoot and in nice lighting outdoors some of the photos look as good as a dslr but it really oversaturates reds and blue's, so much that sometimes colors around it can look undersaturated.

Hit up the flickr page for that camera and you can see people's photographs. For the price you cant beat it unless you find a used dslr on craigslist...BUT...they great thing about it is it would zoom to the moon, its relatively small, quick, and beats the crap out of a point and shoot.

I poop too much.
