Fake rolling shots?

I'm guessing this is all in photoshop but how do you get this rolling effect?

I tried a quick search and found nothing conclusive around here.

Re: Fake rolling shots?

Those types of shots are usually gotten using a rig that mounts the camera to the car(usually under) and is later scrubbed out.

Re: Fake rolling shots?

what he said^^

you attach a rig to the car and go really slow and use long exposure times. then you go into photoshop and chop out the rig.

Re: Fake rolling shots?

That's a 1 sec exposure at like f/22 on a rig. Nothing too complex about it

Re: Fake rolling shots?

Okay cool, thanks Guys. My Friend and I have fabbed up two different rigs before (for AutoX) but never mounted one that sits so far away from the car. This ought to be interesting.

Re: Fake rolling shots?

Yep, camera rig. It can be mounted via clamps and/or magnets from UNDER the car, or with suction cups on top of the car.

Mine uses clamps/magnets.
