Automotive Rigs

Just thought i throw these up for anyone who's interested in building themselves a nice rig. It'll set you back for about the cost of a new lens. I'm in the process of building one and these sites have helped a lot.

Re: Automotive Rigs

I built my own at one point... but was never able to get it stable enough that I was comfortable with the camera on it.

I ended up just buying one.

I think that site is a rip off. You can build one that has greater strength and stability than that one, and for 1/3 of the cost.

That is what I bought. I couldn't be happier. Having tried to build mine myself, as well as seen two other rigs in person... the one I purchased is far superior.

You might be right, but they're in business for a reason, and not everyone is a DIY kinda person.

thought you were kidding since most ppl dont like to show their rigs and use that website to stop ppl from asking, but whatever works. i guess i just like to build my own things when i can. Plus im still in college and am limited on funds (scholarships are amazing)

you wouldnt mind taking pictures of how its all set up and done would you?
