BABIES!

So I haven't been around for a bit. Life got a little hectic. I am 23 weeks pregnant. I am due July 25th! Super excited. We are having a little boy! My husband and I are thrilled to death! They have been moving me around at work. And moved me into a HOTTER area. Which makes me super cranky lol. But its great that everyone wants me to try and take it easy while I am there. Nice to have some support at work! We are going to be working on the babys room soon. He is an active little guy. Nothing like seeing your tummy move around!

Re: BABIES!

I work in a kitchen with poor air conditioner....When it was 80 last week it felt like 100 in the kitchen,....I was SOO miserable. Other than that, my pregnancy has been smooth. I love my OB! And the hospital I am having the baby at has a newer maternity ward which is great. We haven't done a tour yet, but intend on it. Although I have been there for 2 anatomy scans! I am starting to get a but of a wobble going on. Which ppl find entertaining. Other than a major lack of sleep, and wanting to eat everything in sight, its been great though! Hope yours has been well too!

Re: BABIES!

I've had quite a few bumps...

My morning sickness lasted about 4 months of not being able to eat much at all. I was put on a medication to help me eat, but then I developed a gallbladder problem once I was able to eat more food. I was put on new meds for that and they helped me big time. Now that the baby has dropped REALLY low, my gallbladder is fine and I haven't had to take any meds, which is great! Baby boy bruised 3 of my ribs about 6 weeks ago... that hurt.

I've been in a false labor twice already. hahah it was interesting.

Now I'm just waiting anxiously for this little guy to come out! He's been squirming around A LOT lately and I hope he's ready soon because it's getting REALLY uncomfortable and painful! lol

Re: BABIES!

I was lucky.. I only had about 4 weeks worth of MS and food aversions...But thats a REALLY long 4 weeks when all you do is work around food. EVERYTHING made me gag. I've had a few bouts of dizziness. I think I spend most of my day peeing if I am at work. Being on your feet all day and having that baby just laying on there is not fun. Hopefully this doesn't mean ill have a long labor and delivery lol. Being a FTM i've def flipped out about any pains or feelings that didn't feel normal that i've felt. But my anxiety has taken a back seat thank god.

Re: BABIES!

I can't even be on my feet for 15 minutes without having to sit down. Thank god I sit on my ass all day.

But I have been walking nonstop lately (after work). Hoping that my delivery goes smooth because of that!!!

Re: BABIES!

haha I am sure once I get to 30 weeks (which is so close) I will be dying. I had to tell my boss at work that lifting wasn't an option. And he doesn't want me to lift anything. My heals and back start hurting and I have to sit down for 15 minutes every 3 hours or so. Last week I noticed that I would have terrible back pain that would keep me from sleeping. Well Monday I did an experiment to see if it was from lifting and not standing. It was from lifting. Even something as simple as a 1 gallon soup pot had my back agitated. However I think I am going to let my OB know about it. She told me she can cut down my work hours if need be. Everyone is looking out for me, bt they moved me to a new location and while the staff is understanding, I am pretty sure they are only going to put up with it so long before it starts to bother them that I get so much help. I mean its either I am there and do some or I am not there at all.

Re: BABIES!

I've decided to listen to all the advice I'm getting... and make today my last day of work. Baby is due in 6 days, so people want me to take it easy and blah blah blah. I hate not working, but I guess it's for the best.
