Help girls....going to Florida...humidity question...

Hey girls help me out.

I have naturally curly hair. I straighten it every other day....
I am going to Florida for 9 days leaving Friday. I have never been there. I need help on how to tame my hair....

Is it humid out there?

I just bought this Frizz Eaze weather proof shampoo and conditioner to see if that works. Says it helps with humidity and taming hair.

I am going to a friends wedding on Nov 8th...it is on the beach....I don't want to look like a frizz ball.

Suggestions??? (put hair up and curly?, straighten?)

ooo that shampoo works well, but then again i live in cali. but that shampoo and conditioner really made my hair super healthy. and hairstyle depends on the style of the dress

True...I guess I'm going to go buy my hair gel to have my hair curly while out there.
bummer.

As for the style of the dress I am wearing for the wedding is about knee length, strapless on top and hugs my chest and flows everywhere else. I am thinking curly hair bunched up at the top of my hair with some curls loose for the hairstyle.

Re: Help girls....going to Florida...humidity question...

i used to hate going to florida in the summer time because my hair would curl up and frizz. now i kind of like the look. but i don't think humidity is really a problem in the fall/winter in florida? if you're really concerned about it i would do an updo with curls and use a ton of hairspray!

Re: Help girls....going to Florida...humidity question...

I live in New Orleans where its probably as, if not more humid than florida.
During this time of the year, the humidity isn't bad, due to the cooler weather.

During summer though, the flat iron and BioSilk are my friend.
(=

also, what part of florida? the northern parts Orlando/Tampa have been getting a bit of a cool front.

Ugh...it was very humid out there. I had my hair up or curly most of the trip. I had my hair straight one day...which went up into a ponytail in the afternoon....due to the trying to curl effect. LOL
