thinking of going all black... again.... (another hair thread)

so for about the last 4 years I've had brown hair with lots of white blonde highlights and for about the last 2 years or so I've been dying the bottom layers of my hair black. I loooove this look but I'm really wanting a change. Especially since I know for a fact my hair isn't "professional" at all for my job... I'm thinking of looking for a new one soon and I know that my current hair won't fly with employers. Since the bottom layers of my hair are already black I'm thinking of just dying the rest of my hair black. I had black hair when I was younger... 19-20ish & really liked it. A lot of people said it didn't suit me, I think because of the way I styled it (usually parted down the middle with lots of layers) & to be honest I think brown and blonde are just boring now. I used Feria Starry Night which is a supppper shiny black with lots of blue and purple highlights in the sun. Here's pics

^ yeah I went through an emo phase

Anyway, here's what I'm working with now...

Here I am with black hair but with a little bit of blonde in it (no brown)

I dunno... I'm just nervous about going to a solid color again lol... It's been so long since my hair has been all one color. thoughts?

I think you'd look great all black. You can always try it... and if you don't like it just dye it back. ^_^

Re: thinking of going all black... again.... (another hair thread)

see thats what I'm worried about... that I won't like it and it's not as easy as just dying it back to the way it is now... it's the way it is now because it's been processed blonde so many times which is why it's not completely fried. if I decided it didn't like it black, and wanted it back to the way it was, it would damage my hair so much.

I personally like the blonde on you better, even though 9 out of 10 times I favor brunette colors. What is your actual natural color?

Re: thinking of going all black... again.... (another hair thread)

i have the blackest black hair around (korean thing), and i got my hair highlighted before and it took about 4 tries to get the color to show, what i suggest is try on some black wigs, and see how u look, if u like it and feel comfortable go ahead and dye it black, cause once you go black its hard to go back lol
