Car Color as Fashion Statement?

I just got my MZ hatch, love it-- and it's Phantom Purple Mica!
Face it..When you're in your car-- you kinda "wear it" in a way.. anyone agree?
Or maybe 'it wears you'?-- whateva..
I'd driven a grey car for 13 years.. which was 'classy and neutral', I suppose.. but was ready for some color! My 10 year old neighbor said the color 'blends with me'-- which was so cute..(My style's on the 'hippie-flowy-skirt,sandals- jeans,tee- shirt' side..)
While I don't wear loud or garish colors my self-- this color is actually lovely and often subdues as it changes with the light.

True your car always tells something about you. I prefer a pearl white car, but could not get that on our Speed 3. I think more along the lines of what car you drive shows your personality.

Re: Car Color as Fashion Statement?

I've always had blue cars... I've just always been a blue kind of girl

Read this:

What your car color says about your personality

How right on is this about you girls?

Quote:
Black cars denote an aggressive personality or someone who's an outsider or rebel.
Silver cars indicate someone who's cool, calm and slightly aloof.
Green cars can often be chosen by people with hysterical tendencies.
Yellow cars signify someone who is idealistic and novelty loving.
Blue cars are chosen by the more introspective, reflective and cautious driver.
Gray cars represent those who are calm, sober and dedicated to their work.
Red cars denote those who are full of zest, energy and drive and who think, move and talk quickly.
Pink cars are chosen by gentle, loving and affectionate drivers.
White cars represent status-seeking extrovert drivers.
Cream cars are the least likely to be involved in accidents and denote self-contained and controlled owners.
I think it's pretty dead on for me!

Re: Car Color as Fashion Statement?

Found this for you BB!! http://www.netquote.com/newsletter/2...-your-car.aspx

Quote:
7. Purple cars. There are dozens of new shades of purple being used everywhere, from fashion to electronic gadgets to automobiles. Purple is the color of royalty and, as such, it denotes power, ambition and strength. People who pick purple as their car's color really want to be noticed.

now for one of life's biggest questions... is strato blue considered blue or purple? I say blue!
