Should I be worried

Ok so My fiance and I had sex. Protected sex. like 3 times. He never ejculated once (he takes for ever and a day) So he didn't do anything in me. But i did work on him a few times with my hand and he got off that way. Well I missed my period (nothing got near my region) I have missed periods before I just haven't missed one in 5 months. There stands a chance that I have PCOS. I am scared to take a pregnanacy test for fear of what it will say. I also have Anxiety issues and I know that can delay a period. But I do believe I am late by a week or 2. I also do not keep track of my periods because they can be jumpy.
Soooo what is the chance i am pregnant. Mind you no other symptoms of anything.

Re: Should I be worried

few things might be signs:

tender breasts
mood springs
frequent urination
miss period (though some women who are pregnet still get their periods)
increase in appitite

a missed period could mean pregnancy, or it could just simply be becuase you are stressed out or your body is changing in some other way--like your monthy cycle is changing which also can happens, it happens to me and my menstrual cycle is pretty accurate but time and time again it will be a day early of a day later because my cycle is changing--

i think the chances of you being pregnant is pretty slim, especially if your bf isn't ejaculating inside of you--if you are worried about getting pregnant from getting him off using your hand wash your hands when the deed is done that way at lesat you know your hands are clean--

on a side not if for whatever reason you decide to have unprotected sex i would recommand checking your peak fertalitiy time becuase thats generally the time you don't want to have unprotected sex and let a man ejaculate--this was something my bf and i talked about and i am on the pill, but we wanted to avoid any that may possibly increase my chance of getting pregnant--

i hope this helps, remember you body can feel stress and tension, try to put this fear out of you mind--i know its scary to think about but just try and relax--remember you know your body better than anyone if you start to notice changes i would go to the doctor--

Re: Should I be worried

oh no no ....condoms are great lol. Never unprotected until maybe when we are married lol! And I ALWAYS wash my hands lol. hot water and so dammit! It weird cause my boobs always hurt a couple days before i get my period and they didnt this time. Odd odd odd. Oh well. I don't think I need to be concerned or anything. I have a hard time getting him off with my hand cause you know....my arm starts to hurt bad lol. So I told him when i do get my period again (because he is more worried than me) lol I told him we are not having sex till we get married lol

Re: Should I be worried

If you are sure that nothing of his, got close to you, then you shouldn't be worried about being pregnant.
If you know you are irregular, then you should really be keeping track, there maybe some kind of pattern somewhere, based on whats happening in your life, etc. Hang in there, take a pregnancy test, just to eliminate one worry. and then go see a doctor if it still worries you. You don't want it to be something else and not get it checked out.

Good luck & hang in there

Re: Should I be worried

Re: Should I be worried

I have, but I don't like taking pills. Its bad enough I have to take an Anti depressent (but its to take the edge off my panic attacks) I have had a pap and all that done so nothing showed up...but thats what they said to my mom and a couple months later she was in the hospital getting an adnexal tumor removed from her uterus. She also had symptoms of PCOS which is why I do keep track of when is miss a period or it comes later than expected....after this "scare" I think I will be more diligent about keeping track.

Re: Should I be worried

Kira, what are you on for your anxiety? I'm on Paxil CR.

anyway, back on topic... there are so many different choices for birth control nowadays. I was using the patch until they took it off the market because of heart defects and blood clots... the pill made me gain weight. I'm considering the depo shot or the nuva ring since those are monthly things and easier to remember than taking a pill every day, if that's what you didn't like about it.

**not on this forum and not unless its in a for sale thread.

Just take a pregnancy test and it'll answer your question as to whether you're pregnant or not.

The Nuva Ring is great!!

I never wanted to take the pill because I'm horrible at remembering to take pills, so I started with being on the patch. Last summer at my yearly gyno appointment I mentioned I was getting migraines so she took me off of the patch for a month and then put me on the ring.

It's soooo easy! I love it! I used to love the patch because it was just once a week but this thing is once a month! You put it in, then 3 weeks later you take it out so that you get your period, then put it back in after a week. And I haven't experienced any side effects. No gaining weight or anything. AND it's VERY LOW hormonal! Like I noticed that with the patch, after a while, I never even wanted to have sex...like ever! I don't have that with the ring. Oh ya, and it'll regulate your period... I take mine out/put it in on Sundays and get my period on that Wednesday. Except for when I'm really stressed or whatnot, then I get it on Thursday.
