USAA myself. I'm not too happy with them though, but being Active Duty Military its the insurance to go for. *sigh*

Re: What car insurance do you have?

Yeah I got into my first collision back in April. Deer came out of nowwhere and damaged my car up good. I didn't know I was supposed to pick the body shop they chose for me, I went instead with a shop I've used before. Now my paint isn't looking so hot and USAA said I can only talk to the shop to fix it. Now I've left the state and basically shit out of luck. :? Oh well we learn from experience!

Re: What car insurance do you have?

Sweetface, you should be able to choose any body shop you want. The only reason the insurance company wants you to go to their "approved" shop is because they get kick backs.

Re: What car insurance do you have?

Yeah I see that. I called yesterday about the whole paint issue and they told me there's nothing they can do b/c I chose the shop. If something is wrong I have to go back through them. If I went with the shop they chose for me, they said they could've sent me to whatever shop out-of-state I relocated at.

Re: What car insurance do you have?

Im sure that's true because they have out of state connections. With the shop you chose, they probably don't have any connections to and are too lazy to help.
