Wow, if you had the hardtail equivalent at a similarly good price I'd be ALL over it, something about me & full susp. bikes just don't get along. Good luck with the sale.

Re: Specialized Stumpjumper FSRxc Pro w/ upgraded parts

Yeah the bashguard rocks... I spent some time with an air tool to cut the grooves into it, and whenever I come back from a ride that has logs I basically have to floss between the teeth to get the wood out.

I had a hardtail Stumpjumper before this one, it was a nice bike but I prefer the full suspension for how/where I ride. I am looking to sell this one and get something a little newer if possible. I love this bike so if it doesn't sell, I will still enjoy it.

Re: Specialized Stumpjumper FSRxc Pro w/ upgraded parts

I ride mainly the fireroad & singletrack at bluff point in grotton ct, ever been over there?
I'm still on a rockhopper comp a1fs from 2000. I think it was the last year before they changed from a stumpjumper-like geometry to a more upright one.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever been to Groton. Singletrack?? So this place is like a track??? Sort of like a high speed run?

Hahaha... that's like when I just got new ski's. The guy was like "What type of skiing do you like?" "umm... I like to go fast."

Fireroad is a trail wide enough for a jeep or whatever, singletrack is a single trail that is generally wide enough for one bike and often includes obstacles such as logs, steep climbs, sharp turns (oh, and trees to avoid)
